THE STORY

COPYGM Inc., alias CGM Inc., represents a fresh and modern approach to copywriting. Behind it stands I, Germán, a buzzing young freelance copywriter unafraid to dream big. 

I have worked with some of the coolest brands and companies out there in Europe and America, including RUBEARTH, RODA Cosmetics, ROTSEN TRADEOF, Rígido Jewelry (lots of ‘r’s right there for you to practice that Spanish roll), OTTODISANPIETRO, and Beta-i, among others.

As a freelance fashion copywriter & tech copywriter, my purpose is to champion and uplift the innovative brands that are building the world of tomorrow. I help brands craft and present their voice to the world, via their brand voice, website, SEO and email marketing. 

I am creating the change that I want to see in the world. I approach marketing as a way to build bridges, inspire others and create opportunities for people. For it, I apply the knowledge acquired via, a degree in English Language, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics–and a lifetime of deep empathy for others.

My brand approach is an attitude that has defined the very way I’ve lived my life: doing things differently.

“I was a once young, sensitive child who dreamt of devoting his life to saving the planet as a marine biologist. Over time, my artistic sensibilities took over, and I discovered labs were not to give me the contentment I searched for.

In discovering copywriting in 2019, the act of writing to promote a product or service, I had a major breakthrough. I realised I could contribute to strengthening the branding and marketing of companies who do what I dreamt of doing: making the world a better place.”

From dancer and mannequin, to fashion copywriter & tech copywriter

My actual beginnings as a freelance fashion copywriter go back to the summer of 2020, when looking for my next step in life after my Fulbright research scholarship in Boston University.

Coming from a very humble background, I developed the hustler mentality early on in life, looking for ways to achieve financial freedom and find purpose on the way. At age 14, I began working as a professional ballet dancer, and at 17, the occasional modeling gig came around.

Throughout my life, writing and the use of words have been a constant. From coming up with headline-hitting catchphrases to naming theater companies, as well as having my writing at international fashion weeks, words were the means through which I achieved most of my creativity. Thus, with a lifelong love for writing, paired with a unique experience in creative industries, discovering tech and fashion copywriting while studying my degree in English language made absolute sense. Now based out of Europe as a digital nomad, I write copy in both Spanish and English (AmE and BrE), allowing for diversity in my work.

COPYGM (Germán) is a full-time freelance tech & fashion copywriter. His experience includes work for a diverse array of companies in fashion, technology and corporate innovation. Names including Beta-i: Collaborative Innovation, OTTODISANPIETRO, Rigido Jewelry, RUBEARTH, RODA Cosmetics, Norbor Beauty, DUSHKA Perú and more. 

Academic merits include completing a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language, Literature and Linguistics; being a Fulbright scholar in 2021, and a semi-finalist position in the prestigious NOVA 111 Student list. Now, he is part of the NOVA Network, a networking scouting and selecting the top 3% of international talent.

Coming from a humble background, Germán attests to the power of smart, strategic work to create impact and upgrade. He believes marketing doesn’t have to be empty and can actually provide audiences with tangible value. This includes a thorough, curated selection of any project that may join the COPYGM Inc. legacy.
